Game preview: Alabama vs Georgia

These two titans from college football will face next Monday in the 2017 college playoff final between Georgia and Alabama in Atlanta.

It will be an interesting game from many perspectives. The coaches know really well, actually Kirby Smart HC of Georgia has been member of Nick Saban coaching staff from 2004 to 2015. But now is different, Smart is leading the bulldogs for second year and is ready to compete against his former boss and one of the most complex college team.

Georgia has good coaching and also combine it with a strong running game and also an underrated QB Jake Fromm, a freshman QB who handle well the semifinal stage of playoffs, completed 20 to 29 and finish with 210 yards and no INT. However sooners defense is not as competitive as Alabama. So Fitzpatrick and Alabama safeties will be a threat to Georgia passing game. In the other side of the ball, Smith and the defense of Georgia had an important night stopping sooners  and Baker Mayfield in the second half and allowing them to come back to the game.

Alabama is a complete team, well coached, great QB with the record of winnings in freshman year, mature and maybe future NFL draft player. Hurtz is a great player, and for second consecutive year he will be playing the college final playoff and is contender to be champion. He had no interceptions, he had two TD passes and he has a great ability to run the ball. And he will be backed up by a strong defensive unit who will be protecting the passing game from Georgia and could take advantage of mistakes. Lets see if that defense can stop the running game.
